League Rules

Dear Parents:

The below letter was created by the Directors of the Southwest Midget Football League. All teams in our league are required to distribute this letter to all families. The Titans request that you carefully read this letter and abide by these rules. Please pass this information along to your family and friends who may be attending your child’s games. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation in this matter.

Dear Parents and Adults:

Most of the programs in our league play and use park district, school district, or some sort of village property to practice and play games.

It has been brought to the league’s attention, that tailgating and use of alcoholic beverages has gotten out of hand. This forces the league’s officials to declare that tailgating and use of alcoholic beverages will not be tolerated. How would you feel if a program lost the use of the fields because of a few selfish individuals that don’t respect the park they are visiting?

Please help us by not tailgating or using alcoholic beverages during practices or games.  Most towns pay their referees through their concession stands. Please support your child and our league by abiding by the rules!
